Recreation & Sports Facilities
A young community, just beginning to plant its roots, Maskiot focused on providing for the very basic needs -- frameworks for the many young children,essential infrastructure, housing, employment opportunities. Yet, no doubt sports and recreation facilities are also essential for the community's growth, well-being and enhanced quality of life. Maskiot has planned for a Combined Sports Facility, a Physical Fitness Facility, Above-Ground Kiddie Pool and a Sun Roof and Wind Breaks for the Children's Park and Playground. These projects will also be open to the residents of the region

| Regional Combined Sports Facility
Includes a double soccer field and basketball courts. The facility will also serve students from the Military Academy and residents of the nearby towns of Hemdat and Mehola, which lack sports facilities.

This scope of this project is to provide a full range of weight-lifting and aerobic equipment to be housed in a 90-square meter caravan.

Temperatures in the Jordan Valley top 40°C many days of the year, which is why an Above-Ground Kiddie Pool is essential for children to cope with the region's harsh climate.

The Maskiot Military Academy absorbs troubled post high school boys from all over the country. Thanks to specially trained staff, these boys become spiritually motivated, physically fit and serve in the IDF.
